Student Center, Main Building 07, is open during limited hours until it is fully staffed with work study students. Hours are listed below, and any changes will be posted on the Student Life & Engagement Canvas page, the Student Center entrance, and the bulletin board in the Student Life & Engagement suite. Please bring your BCCC ID with you to enter. NO SNACKS OR DRINKS ALLOWED! Items include pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, playing cards, giant jenga, giant uno, giant dominoes, and giant connect 4.

We currently receive most of our items from donations, therefore products offered vary. Food is a human right and is an immediate and tangible way to help someone. Every donation of food can make a difference.

I Will Listen Week

Join Student Support & Wellness Services and Student Life & Engagement to celebrate I Will Listen Week. Here at BCCC we want to listen to our students and colleagues and engage in conversation around mental health. The National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI) Baltimore website states, “1 in 5 people live with a mental health condition. Chances are you know someone who does. They are our friends, family members, colleagues, neighbors, and classmates.

For many, the stigma associated with mental illness keeps them from speaking up and getting the support they need for recovery. How can you help? Start by listening. Listening can be one of the most powerful ways to support someone facing mental health challenges.

I Will Listen encourages open and honest conversations about mental health. The campaign brings together college campuses, workplaces, and other communities to start conversations, learn more about mental illness, and to understand what stigma is and how to overcome it.”

Start Your Recovery was developed by bringing together experts in substance misuse treatment from leading nonprofit, academic, and government institutions. Through this resource, students can hear stories from people with similar experiences and learn how to recognize and deal with substance misuse.
